Portofino is an ancient fishing village, built around a natural port that has preserved its traditional character. The Hotel Eden is ideally situated in the centre of the town, in a narrow side-street close to the esplanade and the famous piazetta, but well hidden from the crowds. The Hotel is an ideal base for the classic day trips to the surrounding area: to the lighthouse, San Fruttuoso and to San Margherita Ligure. The service provided is discrete and unobtrusive, but staff are nevertheless able to anticipate all their guests' needs, be they foreign or Italian, with the property owners personally choosing the management.
