The hotel Torre dei Borboni is situated at 100 metres from the vibrant heart of the island of Ponza, 18 sea miles from Capo Circeo, on a promontory suspended between the sky and the blue Mediterrenean sea. The property is strategically placed in the middle of the eight defensive points of the island, built in the XVIII century to protect the island from incursions and pirates, and it has been erected in the area once occupied by the villa of the Roman Emperor Augusto. The hotel was renovated and completely refurbished in 1995 in typical Mediterrenean style and boasts a private small island with solarium and berth for hotel customers, directly linked to the rest of the property. The two congress rooms, with all technical equipments, can host up to 150 people, and can be used jointly. Guests can also avail of special services, such as guided scuba dives and PADI scuba school (with Open water and Divemaster courses), boat rental, main archeological sites sightseeing tours and so forth. Torre dei Borboni hotel is closed between October and March. |
