Our Hotel is situated at 900 Meters Altitude - the origin of resinous scents of the forest and summer. Everywhere you look you see luscious meadows, healthy farmland and in the midst of it all lies Igls with a population of about 1200. There is something for everyone: a marsch, a lake and 50 kilometers of well marked hiking trails. Also the hiking-trail begins at the Sporthotel and takes you from meadow to meadow passing century old stone pines. The first part you attack with your mountain bike. Then you enjoy the breathtaking view back over the valley from the chairlift.

In the business and cultural centre of Innsbruck the hotel ?Goldene Krone? is located next to Innsbrucks biggest shopping street, the Maria-Theresien-Street, and the triumph arch. Unproblematic approach from the highway, follow the green hotel route. Near the train station (300 m).
