We are offering six apartments recently restored in the same property. They are on the edge of Siena, 5 km from the town centre. There is a large swimming pool (18 x 6 Mt.) shared with the owners and other guests; shared use of all the garden and use of Italian bowling alley (boce ball), Ping-Pong, other children toys. This is an excellent combination of countryside, since there are lovely views of the Chianti hills to the north, and Siena. All apartments have been restored recently. The apartments are pleasantly furnished for holiday use. In all the apartments there is the possibility to have a cot for children under 2. The following prices include everything, are valid for a week (from Saturday to Saturday). All apartments have the central heating ( you pay if you use, Euro 4 for 1 m3 ), so they are available all the year. This is a working farm with many animals (horses, and many dogs). We sell white and red wine Brunaccio, a special red wine, and an excellent biological extra virgin olive oil, vinegar and Grappa. It is possible to go horse-trekking all around the countryside of Tuscany, with a very good guide working in a partner club.

The holiday farmhouse "La Grotta di Montecchino" is situated on a hilltop some 5 kilometers from the medieval city of Siena, with a panoramic view over the rolling Tuscan countryside. It is immersed in the classic Sienese landscape with all its distinctive characteristics: the vines, the olive groves and the cypresses, and the patchwork of cultivated fields of corn and brilliant sunflowers that carpet the clay slopes, tamed and tended by centuries of peasant wisdom. The sweeping vista includes the towers of Siena on one side, and, on another, the deep shady woods which contain a variety of oak trees, and which hide the ancient remains of medieval fortifications. Clients are asked to make a downpayment of 50% (see the coordinate of bank in cancellation policies) when booking. We are plesed to receive payment by postal-order, bank-draft, or in cash.
